I offer effective, creative in-home or off-site tutoring for students of all ages, levels and abilities. I am a published author and award-winning writer with a Master’s Degree from New York University. I can help make reading and writing a fun, nonthreatening experience for your child- let’s take the “work” out of homework!

Areas of study:
K-6: Writing skills, vocabulary building, sentence structure, reading comprehension, general study skills
7-12: College admissions essays, high school English papers, vocabulary study, English homework,
literary analysis and explication

Qualifications:
I hold a Master’s in Journalism from New York University, with a special concentration in writing and editing.
I have worked for ten years as a writer and editor for several print and online publications, including YM Magazine, CNN, The Travel Channel, National Public Radio, Positive Thinking Magazine, Barnes and Noble.
I have published essays in several books, including “Thirty Things to Do When You Turn 30″ and “365: A Daily Creativity Journal”
I received a high score on the New York State Teacher Certification Examination
I was named a CNN Young Person Who Rocks!
